Ashoka, the largest network of social entrepreneurs in the world, has launched, “WISE Up”, a virtual summit to celebrate women entrepreneurs. It will highlight the transformative impact led by women innovators worldwide.
Since its founding more than 30 years ago, Ashoka has provided stipends, professional support services, and connections to a global network for more than 3,000 leading social entrepreneurs in over 90 countries.
WISE Up, is an online Summit that will host women leaders, thinkers and figures from around the world to start a dialogue on the great impact they’ve created in their societies. The three-day online series aims at sparking discussions at the ecosystem-level around how we can better invest in, advance, and learn from impact models that scale deep – ones that prioritize shifts in cultures, values, ideas, and attitudes overreach – and accelerate toward a world in which Everyone is a Changemaker (EACH) through inclusive, collaborative frameworks for change

The speaker lineup includes regional and international superstars from the ecosystem, including Adriana Barbosa, Founder of Institutio Feira Preta and an Ashoka Brazil Fellow, Angelou Ezeilo, founded the Greening Youth Foundation, an organization that equips under-represented young people to be stewards of land and natural resources, Morgan Dixon, Ashoka US Fellow and Co-founder of GirlTrek.
