Cairo-based Interact Labs startup develops hardware and software solutions that make collaborating experience more engaging.
They produced Tact, the first African/Arabian designed product of its kind; a device that transforms any monitor and/or screen into a fast and accurate interactive touch screen surface.
Co-founder Mohamed Samir Abol Enin joined The Nest last week.The Nest, inspired by Shark tank, is a weekly forum held on Zoom, connecting frontier market entrepreneurs with global angel investors. Each week, three startups pitch to a panel of angel investors,and joining listeners, for a chance to secure funding.
During the lockdown, The Nest takes place every Thursday, organized by Jim Chu, a purpose-driven entrepreneur and impact investor based in San Francisco and chief executive officer (CEO) of UNTAPPED .
In a statement to startups-101, Co-founder Mohamed stated:
“We have received a commitment of $60k from The Nest investors and still finalizing it. We are currently raising $400,000 and this would be a single ticket from different co-investors we are negotiating with.’’
This investment will help them expand their distribution network, launch their new version through crowdfunding campaign, and further expand the team.
