Pure Harvest Smart Farms has raised $20.6m in new funding and secured commitments for a further $100m. Investment firm, Wafra International, which is owned by the Kuwait state pension agency, is investing $10m of the new funding, and committing $100m in equity and project financing.
Pure Harvest plans to utilize this investment to continue the development of controlled environment agricultural facilities, to grow pesticide-free fresh fruits and vegetables.
